In depth understanding of project terminology and methodology 2. 5 + years of experience managing programs with 14+ year Infra Network & Cloud project management 3. Ability to lead multi-function project team through influencing skills 4. In depth Risk / Issue / Change Management knowledge 5. Developing executive level PowerPoint presentations 6. Expert skill using Microsoft Project to drive project execution and manage to critical path 7. Experience in managing constrained schedules and resources in a rapidly evolving environment 8. Ability to understand interdependencies and can connect the dots on how one part of a project impacts another 9. Evaluate complex situations accurately and identifies viable solutions that create successful outcomes for the customer. Hosting meetings, taking meeting notes, and documenting action items 10. Ability to organize complex and/or ambiguous information for project sponsor 11. Organizing project goals / objectives into major streams of work with specific deliverables 12. Develop and maintain "lessons-learned" inputs to the project repository for utilization on future programs 13. Work closely with the Program Executive Sponsor, Operating Committee and Steering Committee to facilitate decisions necessary for delivery and to overcome barriers 14. Resolve political, resource, budgeting, change, and legal issues affecting the program. 15. Serves as a mentor/advisor/decision-maker to project managers for the program for issues related to corporate politics, external politics, client relations, governmental regulation, project quality, project risk, and safety. 16. Oversee development of proposals and requests for proposals associated with the program. Program Manager Interactions i. Global implementation effort with multiple Medium to Large Complex projects being managed will typically have: a. Individual team members from 8-12 cross functional teams and business sectors a. 2-4 Service providers needed to deliver key portions of the solution, which will include infrastructure, applications, and several interdisciplinary teams to support execution b. Serves as the leader of a multi-person project management team c. Joint executive program sponsors which requires project manager to gain consensus and set expectations d. Involve multiple technology area with solution design (network circuits, laptop clients, VM server, etc.) e. Global business customers impacted by program delivery involving multiple sector geographies ii. Oversee global program team activities by influencing cross functional team members without direct line of authority (daily) iii. Effective communication with executive sponsor(s), Sr Director/VP, in customer organization (weekly) iv. Status presentation and Stage Gate approval meeting with Directors and Sr Directors (Monthly) v. Serve as first level of escalation from Project Managers assigned to program vi. IT Services Suppliers coordination to deliver needed IT Services required for project delivery vii. Works with EPMO Portfolio Manager to align on key project artifacts and gains alignment on project governance viii. Schedule, budget and scope constraints that cause pressure on delivery
