Sr Informatica Developer

• Participates in requirements and design sessions, then develops and implements fact and dimensions to support the project.
• Reads and understands business requirements, seeks clarification to unclear requirements, follows standard change control and configuration management practices and conforms to departmental application development standards and systems life cycle.
• Understands data ETL concepts and best practices.
• Sets up and executes component tests as well as tracks and documents system defects.
• Participates in software design and programming reviews.
• Recommends improvements to design and programming standards, procedures and guidelines.
• Perform other related assigned duties as necessary to complete the Primary Job Responsibilities as described above.

• Bachelor's degree with coursework in computer science, information systems, engineering or related field and two years' related work experience with the Informatica platform.
• 2+years of relational database concepts and SQL
• 2+years of data management/ETL experience
• Ability to analyze and resolve complex problems
• Self-Starter, ability to communicate equally with business and technical staff.

• Experience in the insurance industry, specifically with the health care industry.
