Lawn Maintenance Crew Member

Description: The Lawn Maintenance Crew Member is responsible for the weekly care and maintenance of both our residential and commercial accounts. As a Crew Member, you would report directly to the Maintenance Crew Supervisor, who will be on-site working with you to achieve the outstanding level of performance and satisfaction that Bluestone Landscapes is known for.

Duties:

- Completion of all contracted work on each property visited during the week

- Understanding of lawn maintenance process to ensure high-quality work and customer satisfaction

- Effectively troubleshoot any problems that might arise in the field

- Focus on attention to detail

- Able to drive truck and trailer

- Operate mowers, weedwhackers, and blowers efficiently over the course of the entire workday

- Be prepared and equipped to work each day in all weather (rain gear provided by company)

Requirements:

- Experience in operating the following

o Zero-turn mower

o Hydraulic or belt walk behind mower

o Push mower

o Weedwhacker

o Backpack blower

o Various hand tools

- Knowledge of professional standards for lawn maintenance on both higher-end commercial accounts as well as residential properties

- Ability to sustain energy level throughout entirety of workday

- Capacity for independent and cooperative work

- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

- Able to lift 50+ lbs.

Preferred qualifications:

- Extensive knowledge and 3-5 years experience on a weekly lawn maintenance crew

- Snow removal experience preferred for winter work

- Ambitions to pursue our “pathway to supervisor” steps (information provided if requested)
