Construction Laborer

Small, family owned, Pre-Engineered Metal Building (PEMB) erection company is looking to hire a hard-working employee.

The company is based in northwest Connecticut.

Job sites are located all throughout New England but are concentrated in Connecticut and Massachusetts.

This position will start as a laborer and the employee will perform various duties ranging from job site clean-up to erection and installation of PEMB components. There is room for rapid advancement with-in the company if the employee can;

- Demonstrate the ability to consistently follow directions.

- Show a consistent strong work ethic including reliability and pride.

- Establish the required skill set to complete various PEMB tasks.

- Demonstrate an ability to complete the tasks with minimal supervision.

The position is full time and includes overtime as needed.

The position will start around April 1st, 2021

The position will start at $20/hour with opportunities for greater pay.

The position includes paid time off, health insurance and 401k options (after the required probationary periods.)

-Candidates should be in good physical condition with the ability to perform laborious duties (ie lifting, walking and other working functions) for long hours.

-Candidates must be comfortable with heights.

-Construction experience is not necessary, the tradesman will instruct and teach as necessary, however, a general knowledge of safety and tool use is preferred.

-Candidates must have own transportation to job sites or shop or rendezvous points en-route to job sites.
