Job SummaryThe Lead IT Security Services Engineering is responsible for developing and leading the Service Engineering team in the delivery of enterprise class security services in partnership with the Manager Information Security Services Engineering. IT Security Services will provide the engineering (plan, build, run) required to implement the underlying technology of security services. These services will include functions such as but not limited to: PKI, perimeter defense, intrusion detection, secure logging, secure email, malware protection, and data protection. The Lead Security Services Engineer will work closely with the Security Services Engineering Manager along with Sanford Privacy, Compliance, and other Technology Solutions’ leaders and their teams to ensure security services meet the needs of the business and are compliant with federal guidelines.

Responsibilities:Lead a geographically dispersed teams of security experts responsible for delivering high quality and compliant security services.Lead the resourcing and allocation of the Security Services Engineering team to ensure capacity is understood and not exceeded.Lead in the prioritization of internal and external initiatives and projects that are in line with Business and Information Security prioritiesOperational owner responsible for the overall design, implementation, and on-going support for our security services with a focus on enterprise class deliveryDevelopment of efficient and effective processes which are documented, repeatable, and scalable to deliver best in class security servicesEnsure the delivery of security services align to industry best practices and Sanford’s business needsLead in the develop of operational metrics and reporting which create team accountability.Continuous compliance with HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST, PCI, and other regulationsLead in the identifying, evaluating, and implementing of technical security controls to prevent, detect, contain, and respond to information security threats.

Qualifications
  • Strong leadership skills and the ability to collaborate across all levels of the organization.
  • The ability to interact with Sanford personnel, build strong relationships at all levels and across all business units and organizations, and understand business imperatives.
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with the Technology Solutions organization, project and application development teams, management, and business personnel
  • Bachelor’s degree in cyber security or an information technology related field. Master's degree preferred. Advanced security training is required.
  • Minimum five years' experience working in Cyber Security preferred. Strong working knowledge of the information security standards and procedures including PCI and HIPPA.
  • Security Certifications are highly desired.
