Program Manager (forecasting and estimation)LOCATION: DFW AreaDURATION: 6+ Months POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES Looking for program manager to join our team to develop multiple proven estimation models and processes based upon different types of IT projects. Expected Tasks: • Analyze, classify and define the different IT project types • Conduct discovery workshops and observe existing estimation development activities • Collect existing artifacts, where available, to analyze • Develop estimation models with process steps for each project type • Develop gap analysis between current processes and recommended best practices • Analyze existing project lifecycle methodology and make recommendations for integrating various estimation methods/models - Project estimation models (templates) by project type
- Process diagrams with decision tree for each estimation model
- Change management strategy and plan
- Management toolkit (i.e. engaging staff, promoting adoption and sharing the vision)
- Validation results for each estimation model
- Estimation training materials by resource role
- Estimation process gap analysis report
- Standards/guidelines as it relates to estimation
Qualifications:- Project Management
- Project Estimation Modeling
- Large Change Management Initiatives
- Implementing Enterprise Architecture frameworks
- Nice to have PMP certification
- Nice to have Cost Estimator certification from ICEAA or AACE
