As Production Supervisor, you will be responsible for:

Directing daily activities of all personnel and processes within the department in order to provide a quality product to all MAHLE Aftermarket customers.

Assigning work and maintain workflow at optimum levels.

Ensuring work meets or exceeds quality standards for all processes.

Communicating and maintain company policies and disciplines.

Maintain timely employee records concerning attendance and production performance.

Provide proper on-the-job training (OJT) for new employees and new procedures.

Maintaining communication of pertinent details between departments.

Implementing new ideas and processed to improve efficiencies.

Promoting company loyalty and good employee morale.

Give timely employee reviews fairly critiqued for employee development.

Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Manage teams of 5-10 on a team

Supervisor is responsible for leading department to achieve company goals.

Ability to prioritize and schedule workflow within department.

Must possess basic knowledge of Human Resource skills and Labor practices.

Work with SAP Systems

Basic Qualifications:

Must have a High school Diploma or GED

5 plus years of Supervisory experience

Experience working on the Shop Floor

The ability to work shifts

Ability to identify and solve problems, make decisions, and to work within assigned deadlines with a high attention to detail

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must have excellent attendance/safety record

Intermediate computer skills, especially in MS Office

The ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Preferred Qualifications:

SAP Experience

Ability to operate material handling equipment required in department is preferred

Degree is a plus

Shifts:

1st shift 6am to 2:30 pm

2nd Shift from 2:30 pm to 11:00 pm
