Experience:

Machine Operator, 1 year (Preferred)

Position Overview

Operate and maintain machine work area. Ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products are to standards.

Essential Functions

Operate and maintain machine work area. Back up other operators.

Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of filled or packaged products to standards.

Adjust machine components and machine tension and pressure according to size or processing angle of product.

Tend or operate machine that packaged product.

Remove finished packaged items from machine and separate rejected items.

Regulate machine flow, speed or temperature.

Stop or rest machines when malfunctions occur, using proper Lock Out/Tag Out procedures, clear machine jams, and report malfunctions to Supervisor.

Inspect and remove defective products and packaging materials.

Sort, grade, weigh and inspect products, verifying and adjusting product weight or measurement to meet specifications.

Start machine by engaging controls.

Count and record finished and rejected packaged items.

Shovel product onto Conveyors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.10-$14.75 per hour
