Mechanic-small engines/outdoor power equipment

Small Engine Mechanic - IMMEDIATE OPENING: FARMINGDALE shop is looking for a mechanic to run service department and to service, maintain and repair equipment for our customers.

Requirements and Responsibilities include:

1. Must have 2 YEARS experience working with commercial and residential lawn mowers, weed wackers, blowers, trimmers, chainsaws, carburetors, small engine repair, Two-stroke engine repair and Forestry equipment.

2. Must be familiar with all major brands such as Stihl, Husqvarna, and Honda etc.

3. Applicant should be able to order parts and possess Basic Computer Knowledge.

4. Must be hardworking, self-motivated, personable and be able to run day to day operations, service customers and look up parts.

5. Must be organized and document all work and services performed.

6. Must have your own adequate tools for a variety of applications.

7. Must maintain a safe and orderly work environment in the Shop and Yard.

8. Communicating to Manager about ongoing service and make lists of parts to be ordered and stocked.

9. Valid NJ Driver's license.

10. Welding and electrical knowledge is a plus, but not mandatory
