Body Shop Parts Person

Responsibilities:

Counting the parts that come in and checking part numbers to make sure everything on the invoice was received.

Checking parts for damage.

Labeling each part by the job number it belongs to and putting them away neatly so there is no risk of parts being damaged.

Making copies of invoice for folders.

Pulling all the parts for a specific jobs when needed and bringing them to the person working on the vehicle.

Marking if there is a core on a job that must be returned.

Eventually you will be thought how to order/check in parts into the CCC estimating system.

Making sure all wrong or damaged parts are returned in a timely fashion and reordered when needed.

- this means calling the part company and scheduling return/making copies on invoice for part and our records. And following up every day until part is picked up.

- you will also follow up once returned for copy of credit for part to make sure money is refunded or credit is applied to the account

Must be organized and punctual. Drivers license and reliable transportation are a must. This is a full time job.

Sick pay, vacation, paid holidays and health insurance are offered. As well as overtime when shop is at its busiest months.

Starting pay: Great pay. Negotiable pending experience. This is an entry level position, however you have great potential for both raises and growth with in the company very quickly as you advance at the position.
