Job Title: Machine Operator II

Location: Rochelle Park, NJ, 07662

Position Summary:

Operation of production equipment that is used to produce the Company's products.

Equipment in production units including envelopers, laser printers, sorting machines, correction terminals, COMs, postage meters and unit PCs.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Operate multiple laser printers simultaneously without supervisor.

Adhere to quality control procedures.

Read and correctly complete job sheets.

Exhibit flexibility to ensure there is adequate work coverage.

Identify production related problems and notify supervisor in a timely manner.

Maintain logs of files received and released.

Perform recovery processes when necessary within client SLA requirements.

Ensure that daily back-ups are completed and perform monthly back-ups when necessary.

Perform minor repairs on Laser equipment.

Assist in other areas when needed.

Experience and Qualifications:

Prefer one to two years of printing experienced preferred, but will consider related experience operating computer driven manufacturing equipment.

Knowledge and understanding of laser room operations.

Must have good organizational, multi-tasking and detail oriented skills.

Manual dexterity with mechanical aptitude a plus.

Good understanding of MS Windows.

HS Diploma or equivalent.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.

Strong attention to detail.

Good troubleshooting and problem solving skills.

Must be flexible and a team player.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Able to work 8-10 hour shifts, weekends, OT at short notice.

Constant standing, walking, lifting 8 to 10 hours daily.
