Caring Transitions provides older adults and their families with much needed services such as… downsizing and sorting out their home, determining what’s a donation and what’s an item of value to sell on our online auction or estate sale, along with moving and unpacking to resettle a client into their new residence.
Seeking a dedicated individual who is able to problem solve while working independently with minimal supervision and flexibility with scheduling. Part time positions, may lead to Full time.
Team Members provide great customer service to our clients while working closely with a manager/ owner and other team members. The position has direct interaction with clients and the public.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Operate a point of sale device as needed
Prompt and regular attendance on assigned shifts, with flexible scheduling.
Sort client’s house to determine what’s a donation and what’s of value to be sold
Selecting household items to be grouped into lots and photographed for our online auction.
Safely pack/unpack and resettle client’s household items at their new residence
Property cleanouts
Other duties may be assigned as needed
Qualifications & Skills:
Positive & Compassionate Attitude
Strong Organizational Skills
Outstanding customer service skills
Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
Ability to interact with co-workers and function well in a team environment
High School diploma or equivalent
Valid driver’s license
Physical/Environmental Requirements:
Frequent walking, standing and/or lifting
