Busy Italian Restaurant in search of an immediate full-time Sous Chef that'll play an integral role in the management of daily kitchen operations. Your creativity and development of menu items will help drive menu innovation. You will assist in inventory and labor management and focus on quality control to maximize profits. You will have the opportunity to learn many skills that can lead to advancement. Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities
Work with owners on menu development within the Andrew's Bistro that includes;
-Dine In, Private Parties, Take Out and Weekly Specials
-Work alongside current FOH management team.
-Proficiency in all kitchen stations
-Updating and adjusting all established recipes with the Executive Chef & Owner.
-Ensuring consistent quality control of all menu items.
-Daily and Weekly ordering.
-Work with Cooks to improve and develop existing skills.
-Ensure accurate Monthly Inventory
-Hiring and Training of new staff
Requirements:
-2 years proven experience as a Sous Chef in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.
-1 to 2 Years Kitchen Management experience.
-Interest in Eclectic Upscale Food
-Leadership skills
-ServSafe Certification
-Full Availability
-Culinary School Graduate a plus.
-Computer literacy in Excel and other related apps.
