Paralegal Wanted

A Savannah family law firm specializing in divorce and custody cases has an immediate opening for a paralegal. The candidate should have experience with civil litigation cases. Experience with divorce and other domestic relations cases is ideal, but other comparable experience will be considered. Candidates should be organized, dependable, and have a positive attitude. Experience working in a legal office is preferable, though candidates who have recently completed their degree in Paralegal Studies will be considered. Duties range from drafting documents such as pleadings and discovery, handling correspondence, revising documents, preparation, contact with the courts, and filing documents with the Superior Courts. Experience managing and maintaining attorney calendars, scheduling court dates, tracking court deadlines, handling client intakes, and scheduling client appointments is a plus. Must be able to work independently with guidance. Proper phone etiquette is a must. Please send your resume and references for consideration.
