Job DetailsPRIMARY FUNCTION:Develop, test, implement, and document manufacturing processes required to manufacture new and existing products utilizing knowledge of product design, materials, fabrication processes, tooling, and production equipment capabilities, assembly methods, and quality control standards in accordance with product specifications and customer requirements.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Facilitate communications between Product Design and manufacturing in two locations through new product introduction pilots, process development and modification, running changes, and other support to minimize disruption in production.Identify, recommend, and implement next generation equipment for production.Solve problems and perform engineering work related to planning, devising, and adapting processes to impact production in two locations.Consult with management, engineering, quality, and other staff regarding production capabilities, production schedules, and other considerations to facilitate production processes.Lead, participate in, and coach associates through problem solving activities to support daily manufacturing operations (troubleshoot and resolve problems with processes and equipment while in production).Prepare training materials and train key production members on new work procedures and manufacturing processes.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent experience.2-years experience in a manufacturing environment, including driving new product launches through the design and production phases focusing on quality, safety, and production efficiency.Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, organizational, and communication (verbal and written) skills with attention to detail.Must be hands on' and results oriented.Proficient skills in Excel and other software packages used in production and technical applications.Ability to read/write proficiently in Spanish desirable.Project Management training/experience desirable.Interested in hearing more?
