Laundry Attendant

Job Description

Hourly pay rate $15.00

1. 1. Assist laundry attendants to insure that department meets department and company goals and standards of quality, productivity, cost and safety.
2. 2. Maintain smocks, coveralls and cloth liners which include washing, folding and mending
3. Back up coverage for Supply Clerk

• Good leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read written instructions and communicate verbally in English with management and hourly employees; bilingual English/Spanish, English/Punjabi, English/Assyrian preferred.
• Able to work safely and set an example of safe working habits for his/her coworkers.
• Ability to give instructions and follow-up with hourly employees.
• Ability to understand/perform various tasks to standards established for the department.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements; lifting and standing for prolonged periods.
• Basic computer skills (Excel,Word, Outlook, etc.) preferred
• Must have a good employment record.

Qualifications

Must be able to submit and pass a criminal background check and drug test.
