Sr. Cloud Architect

RKCS is a prime government contractor providing IT Services to various state, local and federal agencies since 1998.For one of these agencies, RKCS requires an IT Infrastructure Project Manager to assess customer’s current infrastructure and application landscape and evaluate and propose Cloud Migrations, Datacenter Builds, Infrastructure Operations, Service Delivery options.

• FMD is seeking assistance to perform a cloud migration assessment for the OFF and iQMIS systems that are currently hosted on-premise within DOI Datacenter in Lakewood CO.
• The assessment should include analysis of the entire IT infrastructure including Network, Server, Database and Application requirements and connectivity to other subsystems/applications.
• Experience with strong Oracle Federal Financial background and experience leading data center and infrastructure integration and transformation initiatives including site selection, construction and migration, recommending public, private and Hybrid cloud strategies related to infrastructure and the applications best suited for these targets.
• Comfortable assessing cost of migration strategies. Experience contributing cost avoidance initiatives through strategic planning, project management, and IT enhancements targeting diverse operational environments.
• Oracle 12C experience.
• Should be able to Represent Cloud practice (champion-SME)
• Must have knowledge in providing the costs for the Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with installing and configuring the Cloud solutions.
• Have an architecture mindset and can partner with Customer to help create cloud-based solutions and hosting the data
• Experience creating and supporting systems using public cloud resources
• Experience with public cloud (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform) and Agile environments
• Previous experience and Good knowledge of AWS, AZURE, Google Cloud Platform, PCF and other popular cloud platforms is MUST

• Project Manager with Datacenter, Cloud, Networking, Security experience for 5 to 10 years.
• Must have multiple government projects experience
• Experience with large scale infrastructure projects.
• Ability to manage quality and consistency across multiple projects in the use of project planning, scheduling, scope, and risk management, status reporting, change control, issues resolution and other project management controls and practices;
• Project management experience across varying technologies, with an emphasis on cross-team efforts that include infrastructure and enterprise software applications;
• Experience providing professional coaching, facilitation, and mentoring experience;
