Digital Workflow Implementation Specialist in Auburn, MIKelly Services is currently seeking a Digital Workflow Implementation Specialist for one of our top clients in Auburn, MI.This is a longer term contract that is set to go 6 +months in length.
- A portion of time in this role will be spent reviewing and assessing use of digital procedures and application in Digital Batch Record space.
- The role also provides the opportunity to enable enhanced digitization of the sample management workflow through implementation of barcoding across plant and lab operations.
- Many of the tools and concepts applied to this project are new and on-the-job training will be provided.
- The work environment is primarily remote with the possibility of some on-site work if the selected candidate is geographically located near a project work site.
- Analyze existing work procedures and identify opportunities to convert to digital procedure format
- Work with production, quality, and/or laboratory personnel to streamline content of existing
- procedures and re-write the procedures following Human Factored and Brain Aligned writing styles.
- Training will be provided on both writing styles.
- Create new digital procedures as needed.
- Support efforts to deploy barcoding technology and related workflow changes at targeted locations
- Understand and follow established safety protocols at all times - includes appropriately managing
- Provide timely and appropriate communications to project leaders and stakeholders as needed.
- Document work processes, procedures, and project summaries as directed.
- Utilize the identified management of change process for work reviews and approvals.
- Proficiency in Microsoft® Office applications and can learn new systems quickly.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills - must be able to read, write, and speak English.
- Effective and positive interpersonal skills along with the ability to work and collaborate effectively
- Efficient and logical thinking ability to help to improve workflows.
- Project management skills - good organization, documentation, ability to meet timelines, and
- A self-starter who can identify, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks.
- Detail oriented and accurate, able to review work in detail.
- Recognize and appropriately escalate issues as needed.
- Chemical manufacturing industry experience and/or a basic understanding of chemical plant
- Familiarity with barcode technology and applicability in a workflow is a plus.
