• Supports applying a systematic, engineering approach to the operational support and use of cloud technologies and platforms for mission solutions, leveraging software-, platform- and infrastructure- as-a-service to deliver various solutions.
• Ensures optimum efficiencies for the utilization of cloud services.
• Supports operational functions such as route/switch, cloud security
• Participate in incident management remediation and work to resolve ongoing issues with the guidance from the Sr. Cloud administrator.
• Work closely with other peers, managers, and team leaders in SaaS Operations/R&D/QA and other customer facing teams.
• Interface as the Tier 2 escalation for IT Helpdesk.
• Contribute to and maintain systems standards as they relate to configuration management, hardening, and security within the cloud infrastructure.
• Supports operational systems duties within cloud infrastructure consisting of VM and server management, systems applications, virtual/physical storage and backup software.
• Supports operational duties within cloud infrastructure consisting of VM management,
• Develop concise, detailed documentation for new and existing environments
• Supports IT Monitoring platform and operational duties
• Manage incoming requests from other departments to process and track completion of projects and duties.
• Document systems/network/cloud architecture using tools such as Visio.
