RESPONSIBILITIES• Define system requirements• Be able to execute design and implementation into production• Be able to build up the analysis of system performance at various angles• Be able to do cross-functional working with hardware and software teams• Build relationship with industry partners to achieve state-of-the-art optical system MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS• MS degree in technical discipline with 3+ years of experience or advanced degree inoptical engineering related with 2+ years of experience.• Knowledge in one of the skills listed below:o Complex optical system design (e.g. imaging optics)o Optical tolerance budget against conventional Monte Carlo Simulationo Optically graded plastic and glass materialo Optical metrologyo Stray light and analysis• Experience in optical software package (e. g. Zemax, Code V, LighTools, FRED,ASAP, Eikonal, Trace Pro, OSLO).• Experience in both sequential and non-sequential optical design software.• Interpersonal experience to work with cross-functional teams. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS• MS in Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related technicaldiscipline.• Experience in opto-mechanical design and tolerance analysis.• Knowledge of camera system integration and metrology methodology for camera lenstesting and camera module evaluation.
