SHR Talent is partnering with an advanced tech company in the Artificial Intelligence space that is currently seeking a sharp, self-motivated and experienced
Technical Document Writer to oversee a wide variety of projects from planning through implementation. This is a full-time opportunity. The Technical Document Writer will work closely with the team to deliver high quality, user friendly product documentation to customers as well as internal documentationRequirements / Responsibilities:- Collaborate with Software Engineering, Customer Success, and other internal teams to gather and research relevant information to enable successful documentation
- Create public user documentation and developer facing documentation throughout the application development life cycle
- Track and manage project efforts, including reviewing and editing, updating new and existing platform-based documentation to validate for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and overall quality
- Work with Leadership; taking direction from multiple sources and compiling data that meets all requirements
- 3-7 years' experience as Technical Writer creating user guides, online help systems, reference material, and other forms of user assistance content for technical and non-technical audiences (sample writings are a big plus)
- Experience in documenting enterprise analytics software solutions
- Strong working knowledge of documentation tools
- Strong familiarity with SaaS, cloud services and distributed systems
- Programming experience is a big plus
- Ability to transform dry technical topics into engaging, informative and interesting educational materials.
- Experience using OKRs to drive product outcomes
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in computer science, Information Technology (IT), or related field
- This role is open to fully remote candidates who can travel to the Michigan office every so often. In-office requirements are flexible, but a presence in the Michigan office is required to some extent (or as often as the candidate prefers).
