CAP Tulsa CareerAdvance and Tulsa Community WorkAdvance are offering Certified Medication Aide (CMA) training at no cost to you! CMAs are in high demand and make anywhere from $12-$14 per hour to start. It's not just job training, it's building a better future!

Requirements:

- Must possess H.S. diploma or GED

- Must be able to pass a background check

- Must be able to pass a drug screen

- Must be currently listed as active as a CNA on the Nurse Aide Registry

- Must have at least 6 consecutive months of work experience as a CNA

- No abuse on Nurse Aide Registry

You will receive:

- FREE tuition and books

- Free childcare for children 12 and under

- A personal academic coach while in school

- Job placement assistance

- One year of career advancement services

Training details:

- 6 Week Training

What does a Certified Medication Aide do?

- Assists nurses in providing patient care and dispensing medication

- Monitors patients and reports changes in vital signs

- Follows written and/or oral instructions to administer medications and document dosages

- Interact with patients and their families
