- Grow and lead a distributed team of accomplished software engineers
- Collaborate with Product and Program management teams to guide delivery of the right output at the right time
- Create an environment and culture for the team to perform at high efficiency
- Interface with external groups to provide feedback, strategy, and direction
- Mentor senior engineers with a bias towards innovation and career development
- Keep your skills fresh by contributing to non-critical path coding or DevOps
- Significant experience directly managing teams building testable, scalable, distributed, fault-tolerant, enterprise-grade systems
- Recent programming with some of our languages: Go and legacy Java server side, JavaScript, C and C# for our client work, preferably including automated tests
- Ability to explain technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences
- An attitude of achievement when our partners are successful
- B.S. in Computer Science, or similar
- Prior work in games
- Experience with multiple SQL and NoSQL databases at scale
- Any of Kubernetes, Istio, Knative, Kafka, Google Cloud Platform or AWS
- Capable with Perforce and Git
