Job DetailsAbout the RoleThe Engineering Technician I will perform sub-assembly, assembly, and integration of custom designedequipment. With minimal supervision, the Engineering Technician I will build complicated assemblies,subassemblies, and systems. The Engineering Technician I will assist technicians and engineers with the repair,installation, integration and testing of equipment, cables and sub-assemblies utilizing established techniques anddocumentation.What you Will be DoingAssemble, install, and integrate various equipment, cables and sub-assemblies following establishedprocesses.Perform self-inspection and testing of assemblies produced.Effectively and accurately report status updates, on an as needed basis, to engineers and technicians inorder to complete the assembly, build, and installation of assigned projects.May assist with prototyping of new designs and provide feedback to engineers regarding product designimprovements.Must understand and adhere to safety standards as set forth by the company.Other tasks and responsibilities relating to the design, build, and test of complex electro-mechanicalsystems.What you Will Need5 to 10 years related experience.Skilled in the use of electronic rework tools, soldering and microscope equipment, and small hand toolsincluding wrenches, drivers, and crimpers as well as power tools including saws, sanders, drills, andgrinders.Must have the experience and knowledge to use electronic test equipment including DMM, currentmeter, oscilloscope, and bench power supply etc. to validate product quality and reliability.Attention to detail and good verbal / written communications skills a must.Recommended intermediate computer skills including applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook,Internet browsers, and product specific or OEM equipment utilities and applications.Interested in hearing more?
