The ideal candidate will have experience supporting someone with accessibility and personal care needs. However, training on the job is made available for those with or without experience as needed. The candidate must be dependable and exercise patience. The candidate must maintain a clean and valid driver license and is required to pass a series of background checks.

Full Job Description :

My spouse and I are developmental home providers for a charming gentleman and vibrant young lady. We are looking for someone to help us provide supports for our young lady 27 years of age. Assisting her with accessibility needs by definition would involve assisting her with the things that she is not able to do for herself. These include and are not limited to personal care, meal preparation, housekeeping, and community activities. Personal care needs include showering, dressing, grooming, and assistance with using the restroom. Our home is ADA compliant and provides all the necessary equipment needed to accomplish these tasks. Activities include going out to eat, shopping, or library. Most of her community involvement revolves around our farmstand located on the premises. She requires assistance with sales and deliveries, therefore the candidate must be able to drive our accessible van and maintain a clean and valid driver license.

Job Details:

Salary - $11 to $14 Per Hour

Room and Board – Available

Schedule – Negotiable

Hours - 40+ Per Week
