Recovery Coaching is a meaningful peer-recovery service to help people begin or maintain their recovery from substance-use disorder. Turning Point, a recovery center, is hiring trained coaches for our work in Brattleboro and in other areas of Windham County. Coaches provide supports at the center, onsite for various provider and community partners, and in rural areas. We place a high priority on training and professionalism, and provide ongoing supervision and workforce development opportunities.

If you’re interested but lack experience, we can provide mentoring and training to help you work toward becoming a trained peer through our tiered staffing model. Your journey might lead you to become a coach, a group facilitator, an advocate, or other roles. To learn more, respond to this posting.

Turning Point is a recovery community that relies on the lived experience of people who are most impacted by the effects of substance-use disorder and the benefits of a life in recovery. Our trained recovery peers connect in compassion, dignity, and recovery to help others find wellness and purpose. We help people with harm-reduction resources as we serve people in a diverse and ever-growing types of recovery paths.

Our coaches support individuals and families through the center, our Recovery Coaching in the Emergency Department program, our New Moms in Recovery program, and our Project CARE community-policing partnership. Our coaches work in Brattleboro and rural areas of Windham County. We operate according to the CDC and state guidelines on COVID safety so we can continue supporting our recovery community.

It’s an exciting time to be in recovery! Come join us!
