Medical Assistant

Healthcare clinic is growing and looking for a motivated individual to fill full-time medical assistant position. Come grow with us. Experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train, if we find the right match.

Skills Required:

Excellent team player a must - small office setting.

Communication - excellent rapport with the patients (phone and face-to-face) and co-workers.

Diligence - hardworking, motivated, likes to learn new things.

Computer - we use Mac and we use ELECTRONIC MEDICAL RECORDS

Job Responsibilities:

Assist Physician: exams, office procedures, administer injections

Administration/Reception: make appointments, register patients

Insurance: pre-authorizations, verification of eligibility

Lab duties: handle specimens, clean exam instruments

Share cleaning duties.

Must be willing to pitch in where needed.

Experience with health care and/or a degree in medical assisting works in your favor, but not a must. Send your resume' for review, if you wish to apply. Minimum three (3) references required.

Salary will be between $9.50 and $11.50 - commensurate with experience.
