Dental Hygienist Experienced

Looking for experienced dental hygienist for busy, technologically savvy Practice in downtown DC, conveniently located to Blue, Orange and Red lines. Position maybe full time/part time. Responsibilities required but not limited to:

Soft-tissue management and hygiene care to Practice patients

Take X-Rays and Scans as needed

Assist in the sterilization of dental instruments with dental staff

Coordinate patient care with Practice dentist(s)

Perform routing dental cleaning and root planing/scaling

Provide oral history updates and maintain patient dental records, especially with regard to medical health history

Understand and input clinical notes after patient appointments and phone conversations

Educate and guide patients on home care and post-appointment care

Maintain recall system for 3/4/6 month recall patients

Coordinate with Practice clinicians on integrated care (Orthodontics)

Requirements:

Current CPR certification

Anesthesia certification appreciated
