Production Planning Assistant

The Cortina Companies, located in Franklin Park, seeks a Production Planning Assistant. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in a production environment. All candidates MUST be proficient in Microsoft Office.

POSITION: Production Planning Assistant

DEPARTMENT: Production

REPORTS TO: Materials and Planning Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Create, schedule and track production work orders

Enter orders / Data Entry

Track work orders to ensure on time delivery and enter production.

Maintain and watch assigned customer forecasts to ensure we have product to fulfill their forecasts.

Other responsibilities as assigned.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Must be able to read and write English.

Excellent communication skills.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Previous experience in a fast-paced, production environment.

High school diploma or GED.
