SEM/AFM Lab Tech II

Lab Tech-SEM and AFM experience required!Are you looking for a long term career with an industry leader for their Maplewood locations? You must be local and have SEM or AFM experience in a lab setting.

• Candidate will be responsible for:
• Preparing routine and novel samples for analysis via SEM and AFM analysis using ultramicrotomy, ion milling, and other conventional techniques.
• Operating SEM and AFM and collecting data.
• Complete basic image processing and data analysis.
• Support product development engineers through physical property and optical testing/characterization, sample prep.REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Associates degree with 2 years lab experience in position similar to REQ OR Bachelor of Science degree (Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science or related discipline) OR equivalent experience. Would prefer BS degree
• Experience with scanning electron microscopy (SEM)
• Experience with atomic force microscopy (AFM)
• Knowledge of, and experience with high resolution SEM imaging of a wide variety of materials (ex. metals, silicon, polymers).
