Onsight Healthcare is seeking outstanding and dynamic Patient Care Screeners to serve the wonderful patients, visitors, and guests of JW Ruby Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Schedule: Must be flexible with 1st and 2nd shifts

Location: JW Ruby Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

- Greets patients and other guests upon arrival with a friendly and helpful attitude.

- Screens patients and visitors when they present in entrances of the hospital.

- Possess good verbal and reading skills to take temperatures and communicate questions as they relate to COVID-19 requirements.

- Establishes rapport with guests to effectively determine needs.

- Serves as a personal escort to the patient, visitor, or guest's destination as needed and available.

- Assists guests with wheelchairs and transports to their destination as needed and available.

- Works with other departments when needed to provide positive patient and family experiences.

Job Requirements:

- Able to demonstrate good verbal communication skills.

- Excellent customer service skills which prioritize the needs of the patient or guest.

- Able to work as part of a team and independently.

- Ability to give clear instructions and concise directions.

- Must demonstrate a commitment to the role and be reliable and punctual.

- Conflict resolution skills and experience when dealing with difficult situations.

- Able to demonstrate a polite and friendly approach, offering a welcoming service to the public.

- Flexible approach to work.

Education and Experience:

At least two years of customer service experience required. Preferably within a healthcare or hospitality setting.

High School Diploma or Equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

- Moderate exertion.

- Must be able to sit, stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours.

- Must be able to assist patients in a wheelchair as needed.

Additional Requirements:

Willingness to wear the designated uniform for professional appearance and recognition.

Willingness to always wear a mask and other PPE while working.

Compensation & Benefits:

- $11.00 hourly

- $150 sign-on bonus
