Senior ADABAS Database Administrator

Hiring for Senior level ADABAS Database Administrator in West Sacramento, CA for contract. Please find the below complete job description. Job Title:

• At least ten (10) years of experience in ADABAS Database Administration support of mainframe (Z/OS) and server (Windows 2012) ADABAS environments.
• At least ten (10) years of knowledge of the principles, practices and techniques required in administration of ADABAS databases within the Z/OS and Windows environments.
• At least ten (10) of experience and a thorough knowledge to support Natural, Predict, Construct, Entire-X and Fastpath, Entire Net-Work, Natural Engineer and Natural Review.
• At least five (5) years of demonstrated experience administrating an ADABAS Database environment with a pension or financial system.
• At least ten (10) years of hands-on experience following a structured System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Experience with interfacing/bridging of multiple systems including Natural/ADABAS.
• Experience with and knowledge of Job Control Language (JCL).
• Experience with ADABAS SQL Gateway, zIIP.
• Ability to work well under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Ability to adapt to a variety of assignments.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
• Possession of well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
