Job Title: Program Assistant, People & Planet Teams, Greater Good Charities

Terms: Full-time, Hourly, Non-Exempt

Hourly Rate: $15.00 Per Hour, Benefits Included

Reports To: Executive Assistant

GreaterGood.org is a 501c(3) is devoted to addressing the health and well-being of people, animals, and the planet. In addition to operating a suite of Signature Programs, GreaterGood.org partners with and funds leading nonprofit organizations around the world in order to alleviate poverty and hunger, promote peace, address cancer and other widespread health problems, foster literacy and provide education, preserve vital habitats in peril, and provide protection and care to vulnerable animals.

Greater Good Charities is looking for an enthusiastic, well organized individual to join our team to assist in the daily program-related activities within our people & planet verticals, correspond with non-profit partners & manage the tasks affiliated with the execution of their partnerships, help develop program content from data, as well as assist with other happenings that occur within a busy national organization.

Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Assist Program Directors & Managers with management of charity partners that meet the mission of GreaterGood.org.

Assist in distributing both in-kind donations, monetary grants, and scholarships for the various people & planet programs and affiliated GTGMs including applications, award letters, and other required documentation. Ensure timely and correct funding of all grant awards.

Communicate with grant applicants and recipients, and ensure timely collection of grant reports, including photos, videos, and success stories.

Assist in the entry and management of program data including but not limited to finance requirements, program impact reporting, and marketing initiative results in relation to participant engagement.

Create drafts of engaging and powerful content for multiple purposes including but not limited to donation follow-up reports, online engagement, and program networking opportunities & affiliations.

Assist in various administrative jobs.

Work on other projects as needed.

Requirements (Tucson, AZ based position only)

Interest in the non-profit world and online media.

Experienced writer and communicator.

Hard working, reliable, passionate person.

Willing to do what it takes to get the job done.

Detail oriented.

Experience in Microsoft Office Suite.

Experience with Adobe Products, specifically Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, and DreamWeaver a plus.

Experience with basic HTML/CSS a plus.

College degree (Bachelor's).
