Responsibilities of the Vice President of Nursing
Oversee responsibilities for the provision of safe, effective, high-quality nursing care.
Responsible for the development, presentation, and management of the Nursing Services budget, work team productivity, customer satisfaction, and staff retention activities.
Provide leadership for nursing by setting and maintaining standards for the clinical practice of nursing.
Participate in the organization's decision-making structure and processes, and shares responsibility for fulfilling the organization's mission. Establishing productive working relationships with the medical staff and support departments.
Requirements
Michigan State registered nurse license required (or willing to obtain)
Master's degree - preferred
5+ years of experience managing in a health system setting - Required
