Description Summary: SAIC is currently looking for an Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) to support System Engineering & Integration (SE&I) activities at Vandenberg AFB, CA. Activities will be in support of the United States Space Force (USSF) Space and Missile Center (SMC).
Job Specific Responsibilities (includes but not limited to): The SE&I role for risk management framework (RMF) at Vandenberg AFB will be doing the following:- Artifact reviews
- Entries into the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) database
- Assisting to move the Assessment and Authorization (A&A) packages through the RMF process for submittal to the Authorizing Official (AO)
- Knowledge/experience to assist in system security plans, system categorization, security control selection, security control assessment, plan of action and milestones (POAM's).
- Bachelor's Degree in related field of study and minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in cybersecurity
- Current Secret security clearance
- DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CYSA+, CCNA Security) required
- Knowledge of Risk Management Framework (RMF) process
- Knowledge/experience with Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS)
- Knowledge and understanding of ATO, ATC, IATT processes
- Ability to communicate effectively
