Local GC seeking Jobsite Foreman

Williams Construction LLC is a residential construction company based in Kapaa specializing in high end, custom homes. We are currently seeking an experienced, highly motivated and skilled jobsite foreman that demonstrates extreme attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Work with construction superintendent and project manager to develop an overall work schedule for the project.

Develop a weekly work schedule and assign tasks to construction workers.

Act as the liaison between field crew and supervisors.

Coordinate operations and oversee all workers on site.

Oversee the safe and timely completion of projects.

Keep track of materials and employee safety.

Must be able to solve disputes within the jobsite, asking for help if needed.

Work with construction superintendent and project manager to ensure project is staying on time and on budget.

Participate in weekly site walks with supervisors to review progress of project.

Qualifications

A high level of competency in carpentry and the ability to supervise while bags on.

Minimum of 5 years in construction with proven leadership/foreman experience.

Must have strong organization skills with the ability to organize a work schedule.

Must be able to read plans and blueprints.

Should have extensive knowledge of construction best practices and job site safety.

Must be neat in appearance, have clean work habits and friendliness towards others.

Must be extremely dependable, on time, and focused during work hours.

Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license and tools
