myRN Staffing Solutions is assisting our client, to hire a compassionate and caring Registered Nurse to fill the role of Director of Nursing - Surgical Services. The ideal candidate must also have the experience to manage OR/Cath Lab/OB. Two years of leadership experience is required.
Responsibilities of the Director of Nursing include:
Advises administrative leadership on patient care issues while supporting and facilitating an interdisciplinary team approach to the delivery of quality care.
Develop patient care programs, policies and procedures
Manage quality improvement and patient safety processes designed to enhance the quality of patient care, reduce patient injuries, prevent patient claims, and assure compliance with healthcare accreditation requirements.
Responsible for the leadership and direction of patient care service areas including Medical/Surgical Units, Intensive Care Unit, Progressive Care Unit, Emergency Department, Surgery, Post Anesthesia Care Unit, Pre-Admission Testing, Same-Day Surgery, Heart and Vascular Center, Labor and Delivery, and Anesthesia.
Requirements:
Michigan State RN license
2+ years of Nursing Experience - Required
2+ Years of Leadership Experience - Required
Must be able to manage OR/Cath Lab/OB - Required
Compensation:
Salary: $92,000 - $153,000 based on experience
