In Playa Vista, an organization with a health data and clinical trial management software platform is expanding their Application Security team. They are looking for a second Application Security Engineer who has notable experience providing security guidance and contribute across the product and engineering teams. Candidates will be tasked with automating the security testing to improve the SDLC workflow and help write secure services and applications across the organization. Additionally, candidates will need to perform vulnerability testing, risk analysis, and security assessments across the infrastructure. Required Skills & Experience

  • 4+ years professional experience
  • Demonstrated experience working on securing web or mobile applications
  • Strong experience with compliance frameworks and regulations (PCI, HIPAA, ISO 27001)
  • Familiarity with securing cloud infrastructures (AWS preferred)
  • Prior experience running penetration tests
Desired Skills & Experience
  • Familiarity with MuleSoft API
  • College diploma or university degree in computer science or a related field
  • Consumer-facing mobile application expertise
  • Experience creating and supporting a Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC)
  • Strong coding experience with Python
