- Coaching your squads but also all individuals involved (including Tribe leads and Chapter leads), with a focus on agile work, high performance and achieving results
- Spreading agile values both at tribe and squad level, helping to build and reinforce the Agile mindset and to embed Agile principles in the day-to-day work.
- Challenging the team on purpose and therefore also on content and results
- Ensuring clear agreements within the squads and you intervene if those agreements are not met You ensure that your squads have complete clarity about the method, roles and responsibilities
- Ensuring that the squads are familiar with the agile culture, that they behave individually and as a team in accordance with that code and that they address each other in a constructive manner.
- Ensuring that the squad makes decisions efficiently and effectively and that you deal with issues and changes flexibly and creatively
- Identifying trends and issues in the cooperation within the Tribe, but also between Tribes and you act
- Initiating the conversation about the collaboration between squads in a Tribe, solicited and unsolicited, so that workable agreements are made in line with the agile principles and the model that works
- Organizing exchange of experiences, best and worst practices, knowledge and information with other Agile coaches and other Tribes and squads.
- Onboarding and training when junior colleagues are becoming aligned to Agile
- Having an ongoing exchange with junior team members, ensure that they are updated on the latest developments and offerings, and provide guidance
- Living agile culture and values and spreading your passion for them among other teams
- Recognized as an agile role model: you work collaboratively, you show courage, you take responsibility, you have confidence, you speak out, you are creative, and you simplify
- Being a “servant leader”
- Communicating with senior stakeholders, being credible and proactive with excellent communication skills
- You are analytically sharp; you can understand, structure and present complex problems
- You excel in commitment and integrity and are therefore a trusted person for the team
- You have a "do it, try it, fix it" mentality and you ask that of others
- You know how to quickly master a new environment and you are a conversation partner at all levels
- You have excellent people management skills: listening, motivating, observing, giving and receiving feedback helps individuals and teams grow
