About the Role As the Financial Systems Administrator you will help lead initiatives as they relate to our financial systems, primarily Oracle NetSuite ERP. Collaborating internally with members of the Accounting, Finance and IT teams, as well as Executive Management, you will be responsible for gaining an understanding of business requirements and translating them into action. You will be responsible and accountable for the overall development, delivery, maintenance, improvement, continuity and support of NetSuite and ancillary systems. In this role you will also be expected to:
  • Serve as the primary contact and liaison between NetSuite end-users, IT/IS personnel, software developers and Executive Management
  • Provide support to the Accounting and Finance teams to ensure that user requirements are met and any troubleshooting is remediated on a timely basis
  • Serve as the primary administrator of NetSuite, responsible for the management of and integrations with the NetSuite platform
  • Identify, document corporate requirements and lead development and implementation of new system enhancements and/or features, as well as maintain existing functionalities and performance
  • Engage with stakeholders on process improvements that can be facilitated by system functionality and system controls
  • Assist in identifying end-user needs, such as training, functionality and process management
  • Review and analyze existing NetSuite configuration for effectiveness by developing new strategies to improve or further leverage the system

  • Oversee ecommerce portal and integration with financial accounting, order fulfillment, payment processing to ensure system controls, reliability, performance and uptime is maximized
  • Develop and/or enhance financial reporting tools and executive dashboards
  • Develop and maintain system documentation, training materials and recovery plans as appropriate, including hands-on user training as needed
  • Support, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and associated maintenance plans for IT/IS management
  • Participate in the development of IT/IS strategies in conjunction with the Director of Enterprise IT/IS
  • Help define and maintain software standards in conjunction with the Director of Enterprise IT/IS

About You
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or similar experience

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in ERP implementation
  • 5+ years' experience working with NetSuite as an Administrator, Developer or Systems Manager, strongly desired
  • Accounting background; including knowledge of internal controls, and how they are applied within financial applications
  • Experience integrating NetSuite with other enterprise information systems, such as Salesforce, Google, and SAP, desired
  • Experience with billing systems, revenue assurance and financial systems auditing is preferred
  • Ability to complete a combination of short-term needs, while managing long-term projects

  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail
  • Strong customer service orientation and effective in interfacing with internal customers
  • Capacity to thrive in a rapidly changing environment
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

Preferred Skills:
  • NetSuite Administrator Certification
  • Understanding of NetSuite OneWorld, Multi-currency, and Multiple Subsidiaries, preferred

  • Experience implementing and integrating NetSuite with a third-party ecommerce platform
  • Experience with SuiteScript
