Job Description As an Engagement Owner in Organizational Change Management, you will create and implement change management strategies and plans that maximize adoption, minimize resistance, and meet project objectives. You will build strategies to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative, while supporting the design and developing of organizational communications. It is important in this position to provide direct support and coaching for managers by conducting analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders. In addition, as the Engagement Owner you will have responsibility for overall change management delivery at the VA facility level including oversight of organizational change consultants. You are a key member of facility engagement management team. You have responsibility for all facility-based risks and mitigations related to change management, communication of results, data outputs, outcomes of the facility to internal and external stakeholders (status reports and monthly deliverables) for change management tactics, execution of the facility change management work plans and milestone achievement, and general oversight and inclusion of learning coordinator into change management activities.Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • At least 3 years of project management work experience
  • Receipt of the appropriate government security clearance card applicable for your position

Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification OR Project Management Institute (PMI) certification
  • Experience in Organization Change Management

Expectations
  • Willing to travel up to 80-100% as needed to Michigan, Ohio or Indiana
  • Currently reside in or be willing to relocate to the Kansas City metropolitan area, or reside near a major international airport
