Senior AnalystLocation: Reston, VADuration: 12 Months with possible contract to hireDescription:- 5-8 Years Experience- Strong demonstrated analytical skills applied to business software solutions maintenance and/or development.- Strong knowledge of SQL to write complex to extract and analyze the data- Very good understanding of database fundamentals, tables, indexes- Adept at reading data models, data dictionary and figuring out various data points and how they are related to each other- Data analysis using advanced Excel skills- Experience documenting Source to Target mappings and similar documents to provide data lineage and data transformation logic- Strong process analysis & documentation skills- Excellent communication/writing skills, interpersonal skills- Attentive to detail, highly organized, and able to multi-task- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Preferred:- Understanding of claims adjudication process, particularly in a health care environment- Experience in a Data Warehouse/Data Lake development environment in a data analytical role- Bachelors (Health administration; business administration; software engineering or related degree required) Responsibilities:- Collaborate with business/IT stakeholders to review and document business and technical requirements- Conduct thorough analysis of various data requirements to identify and document data sources, data transformation rules- Write SQL queries to perform data analysis and to support ETL development- Working in a scrum team, attend daily standups and other agile ceremonies and actively partner with developers and testers- Provide testing support as required to ensure data integrity and data quality Mahesh
