RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce is partnered with a rapidly growing client seeking to hire for a Technical Support/Desktop role in the Melbourne, FLA area. This role is a 6-month contract to hire opportunity with competitive compensation/benefits and offers a great career path with a growing, global company that is an industry leader. The client has offices/operations across the U.S. and this position will support several offices in the Melbourne FLA and surrounding areas. This role can work from home and will be required to visit the offices for services as required. Responsibilities: Deliver support services (incidents, problems, and technical requests) and installs and configures mobile devices, desktop/laptop machines, applications, and network connectivity This role performs Systems operations and first-level Systems Administrator tasks Participate in administration and support of networks, security, telephony, video, wireless and operations Manage and implement planned changes in pre-scheduled maintenance windows off hours Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues via phone, web, and in-person channelsREQUIREMENTS: Associates or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field is desired 3+ years of relevant experience in supporting personal computers and end-users Expertise in PC hardware configurations, software installs, networking fundamentals Active Directory, Windows experienceKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
