Our leading client in Reston is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior DevSecOps Engineer to drive the design, development, and implementation of next generation automation solutions in support of enterprise DevOps and cloud transformation initiatives.This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.

Responsibilities of the Senior DevSecOps Engineer:
  • Offer technical direction in the development and implementation of automated solutions
  • Support and coordinate with teams to implement a comprehensive cloud and application security program
  • Actively review your own and the team's work product and implement improvements to drive continuous improvement
  • Leverage DevOps tools to build and harden a comprehensive cloud-base security platform for CI/CD product pipelines
  • Write complex code, build infrastructure as code, build automated tool sets that enable secure continuous delivery pipeline

Requirements of the Senior DevSecOps Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • At least 5 years of experience with extensive exposure to software development, operations, CI/CD, and information security
  • At least 2 years of experience in DevOps automation and tooling with strong knowledge of cloud security architecture, application security, and security engineering
  • Strong experience in cloud and application security domains
  • Strong practical Linux-based systems administration skills
  • Scripting experience in a cloud-based environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in JavaScript and Python
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services
