Systems Engineer

Description:This position's responsibility, under general direction, is to assist in designing major sections of the enterprise client management environment including back-end management functions and unifying client management processes and practice across the district. This position differs from others in its class by the complexity of system and applications/scope on which it works and the amount of guidance it requires.Function as part of a cohesive client management team including actively sharing ideas, participating in meetings, staying current with applicable technology developments and trends, cross-training with other team members, and thinking creatively.Skills:sccm, scripting powershell, group policy, Active directoryTop Skills Details:- SCCM - On the client side- Strong Powershell - Understanding group policy and settings Must be adaptable - things change on the fly at SPS especially in this new hybrid learning model Additional Skills & Qualifications:Design, planning, and operation of client management systems, processes, and tools. High level of technical expertise in one or more client operating systems (Windows, Mac, iOS)Proficient in one or more scripting languagesUnderstanding of TCP/IP communications and troubleshootingAble to examine current environment and practices and find ways to improve and be more efficient.Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.Communication skillsWorking in a team environment.• Knowledge and experience with SCCM or similar, Filewave or other MDM, OS X Management, and GPOs. • Familiar with SEP, WSUS, SQL/WMI, Student Information Systems, XML, Software and OS Deployment techniques• Extensive knowledge of scripting languages.
