We specialize in masonry and concrete restoration as well as preventative waterproofing of buildings and structures. We have offices across the country and our Washington D.C. branch has an opportunity available for a Warehouse Manager.

This individual will be responsible for overall operations of the warehouse including all equipment, rental records and material ordering. Coordinate deliveries to job sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary responsibility of this position is to facilitate needed items on projects to help keep the projects running smoothly

Receive equipment and material lists from foremen and set up delivery.

Oversee truck driver(s) schedules and deliveries; Assist with deliveries when needed.

Manage the branch annual inspections for all equipment (i.e. lifts), fire extinguishers, alarm system and back flow prevention system. Ensure the Sky climber motors and post tensions are certified annually; Complete HMRP annually for the local Fire Department.

Ensure annual DOT inspections are complete and maintained on trucks and trailers; Maintain truck maintenance needs.

Ensure standard items (i.e. safety glasses, brushes, rollers, rags, etc) are carried by truck driver at all times; maintain & order stock needed sundries and miscellaneous tools to limit supply house trips.

Keep warehouse, yard and equipment always clean & organized.

Manage the equipment service schedule on a regular basis; maintain accurate maintenance and repair records for the branch.

Bring forward new ideas, recommendations that provide cost savings to the Branch.

Research new equipment to assist with production.

Keep a running list of warehouse materials available for use.

Keep track of equipment (i.e. small hand tools) assigned to projects and inventory.

Maintain list of inventory within warehouse. Track inventory and meet with Branch Administrator at least monthly to ensure accurate warehouse transfers.

Shop for competitive pricing on equipment and materials for PMs.

Focus on security of equipment in yard

Manage hazardous materials and keep to a minimum.

Assist with the coordination of branch parties and outings.

Additional duties may be assigned by Supervisor based upon project specifications.

Ability to load and unload trucks and trailers with heavy equipment safely.

Have a background and familiarity with construction equipment and tools.

Ability to learn about materials used in the field by attending manufacturer presentations and seminars.

Will organize trucks with materials, equipment, and tools necessary for job start up prior to mobilization.

Ability to manage any workers in the warehouse from time to time and manage a delivery driver.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid Drivers License

DOT Driver Certified

High school diploma or equivalent

6-12 months practical Warehouse experience a plus

Mechanical ability a plus

Familiarity with Microsoft office applications Excel, Word, Outlook and Internet research

Ability to multi-task

Good communication skills

Bi-lingual Spanish/English preferred

Forklift certified required

Other Equipment certifications are a plus

Demonstrated ability to manage a function within an Operational department
