Job Description:
  • 48 months of demonstrated experience with coding web technologies in a JEE environment, including Servlets, JSP, Java/J2EE, HTTP, HTML, XML, SQL, JDBC and application servers.
  • 48 months of experience with Model-View-Controller pattern and common frameworks such as Spring.
  • 48 months experience with Oracle database servers and PL/SQL. Experience should include creating stored procedures, triggers, and other objects.
  • 36 months experience with modern JavaScript and Typescript frameworks and advanced UI design. Angular 2.x and above is preferred.
  • 36 months demonstrated hands-on experience with RESTful web service development.
  • 36 months hands-on experience with Java Server Faces, preferably PrimeFaces.

Detailed Job Description: The Mid-level Software Developer will support the modernization of the Health Electronic Response Data System (HERDS) by performing development activities. This system allows DOH programs to implement survey for programmatic needs. These surveys have been used during COVID-19 response to implement regular collection of bed availability, PPE, remdesivir distribution, and vaccine coverage among healthcare workers.
