Manager of Technical Training Program

  • Full-time direct hire position with great benefits
  • Onsite work in Metro Detroit
The Technical Trainer for IT/Software Developers will be responsible for the progression of team members in the developer role. The role will include training of developers in everything from technology (.NET, JavaScript, SQL, C#, etc.) to process and architecture. This role is an opportunity to leverage your technical experience to help create successful development teams. You will get the team members up and running and functioning at the highest level!
  • Partnering with IT leadership to provide accurate, relevant, and effective training
  • Act as the subject matter experts (SME) in the development of materials to teach
  • Facilitating ongoing technical training for IT team members
  • Acting as a mentor to junior developers, providing 1-on-1 shadow/coaching sessions
  • Collaborating with fellow trainers within IT and other areas to help our teams fulfill their training needs
Required:
  • Experience with object-oriented programming (C#)
  • Experience using SQL Server
  • Experience using web-based technologies (ASP.NET, JavaScript, CSS)
  • This position requires on-site attendance
  • Strong work ethic
  • Good communication and team-building skills
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
Preferred:
  • Previous training experience
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Experience with Git
  • Experience developing enterprise software
