Local candidates are strongly preferred: The role requires an experienced Organizational Change Management (OCM) practitioner with strong solutioning skills to serve in an OCM capacity for key strategic initiatives, or highly complex change programs in IT. This person will play a key role in developing the OCM strategy and ensuring its consistent application to change initiatives that support increased employee adoption and usage. While not a PM role, the OCM Lead must have strong project management and organizational aptitude/acumen as they will work with multiple cross-functional teams across the organization. They may also be called upon to participate in specific organizational cross-functional initiatives where strong change management oversight is needed.

The skills/capabilities for the ideal OCM Lead are:
  • Solid OCM experience
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written; formal & informal mediums)
  • Driver personality; understands how and when to react with appropriate sense of urgency
  • Expertise in change principles and their application
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles
  • Change Management Certification (see below)
  • Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP)
  • Change Management Specialist (CMS)
  • Certified Problem and Change Manager (CPCM)
  • Change Management Certificate Program from the Association for Talent Development
  • Prosci Change Management Certification
  • APGM Organizational Change Management Foundation
  • AIM Change Management Certification
  • Manufacturing sector (nice to have).
