Cognos Reporting Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client that is seeking a Cognos Reporting Analyst in Clearwater, FL.Summary:We are looking for a sharp, qualified Data Analyst and Report Writer to work with business and technical owners to understand reporting needs, document requirements, develop accurate reports, ensuring business owners have the right data at the right time, elevating strategic decision making. The ideal candidate will be able to work on their own to develop solutions to complex business problems and be an integral member of the information technology team. Our ideal candidate is committed to driving significant improvement within operations and building in quality.REQUIREMENTS: Advanced degree or BI Certification preferred NetSuite and CRM experience preferred 4+ years of relevant experience performing data analysis Must have the aptitude and desire to learn new competencies and skills and be a critical thinker who enjoys finding ways to solve problems Experience and working knowledge of data extraction and reporting software methods Expertise in data delivery methods, including familiarity with metadata, data organization, data quality assessment and data profiling Familiar with accounting and finance practices and principles Ability to independently, resourcefully, and creatively research and implement new solutions Requires close collaboration with business owners, working on-site in the Clearwater office is required Practical experience generating process documentation, workflows, and reports Ability to work in a team environment and capable of navigating an ambiguous environment Interpersonal communication skills, ability to communicate both orally and in written form with the ability to comprehend and eloquently challenge status quo is a mustKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
